THE POETRY COTERIE

The Poetry Coterie is a monthly poetry subscription for the romantics, the rebels, the nostalgics and the optimists.

Each poem will have a loose theme of hopefulness and resilience threaded through, but can cover any topic or area of life.

​

To keep this subscription special, the feature poems won’t be shared anywhere else. You’ll only see the smallest snippets shared online by me.

​

Why?

​

Because this is our quiet rebellion in a world relentlessly pushing us to use AI. I draft poems by hand, type them up on a typewriter, and though I do have to scan them to get printed, there’s as little computer interference as possible.

​

Named The Poetry Coterie because the definition of a Coterie is "a small group of people with shared interests or tastes, especially one that is exclusive of other people…”

​

The Poetry Coterie is inclusive for all humans, but exclusive of bots.

​

Each month, members of the Coterie get:

- an A6 feature poem on cotton paper

- an A7 verse on cotton paper

- a personal letter from me to you

- plus, an A5 birth flower birthday poem on your birth month.

​

Poems will be printed in the same font they are typed, and each month, one person at random will receive the original hand-typed poem complete with a certificate of authenticity.

​

So my romantics, rebels, nostalgics and optimists...
